In this course, a dynamic examination of managerial concepts of human behavior in work organizations is analyzed. Topics include motivation, leadership, reward systems, recruiting, selection, and job design from a managerial perspective.

They will analyze performance indicators, audit processes, and continuous improvement systems focused on patient safety and operational efficiency. The course will study accreditation models, risk management, and user satisfaction, while participants design strategies that strengthen clinical and administrative excellence in healthcare organizations.
In this course, students will examine the main approaches used to value companies, financial assets, and investment projects. They will analyze models such as discounted cash flow, comparable multiples, and real options valuation, evaluating their foundations, applications, and limitations. The course will discuss key factors such as risk, cost of capital, and financial projections, while participants develop skills to select and apply the most appropriate model according to the strategic and financial context.

They will study key indicators, data collection and analysis techniques, and user-centered evaluation models. The course will cover tools for continuous monitoring, clinical auditing, and results-based management, while participants design strategies that promote comprehensive improvement and informed decision-making in healthcare organizations.
Candidates for completion of an undergraduate degree will complete an independent project demonstrating their conceptual, analytical, research, and practical skills achieved through the courses in the program. The project is a 3-credit, one-term requirement that is completed at the end of the program. It is a closely supervised experience resulting in a paper that demonstrates your ability to synthesize and utilize the skills and knowledge you have gained throughout the program.
