Last Friday, January 27, 2023, the Doral Chamber of Commerce (DCC) held a special luncheon to commemorate its 15th anniversary and recognize the accomplishments of its members and the local community. Business executives, community leaders, elected officials, and representatives from South Florida International College all came out to the event, which was held at 107 Steak & Bar Doral.
Mayor Christi Fraga was the special guest of honor, delivering a speech on the importance of supporting local businesses and the role the Chamber plays in fostering economic growth in Doral. Mayor Fraga praised the Chamber for its unwavering commitment to the community and its steadfast efforts in promoting a vibrant business climate.

The Chamber President, Manny Sarmiento, highlighted the organization’s achievements over the past 15 years, including the creation of numerous networking opportunities, the launch of several community programs, and the advocacy of local businesses.
For the past 15 years, the Doral Chamber of Commerce has been at the forefront of both business and community development in Doral. The group keeps expanding and changing, giving its members and the nearby business community useful resources and possibilities.
This exciting event further cemented South Florida International College’s place as a key player in the Doral business community and emphasized the college’s commitment to working closely with local businesses to drive growth and prosperity. The college looks forward to continuing its relationship with the Doral Chamber of Commerce and supporting the area’s economic development in the years to come.
